2nd Lock Rd. | Lancaster Township
Windolph Landing may be a small preserve with a single trail, but it packs a big punch when it comes to charm. The narrow semi-loop trail takes you through the woods in the uplands and along the Conestoga River in the lowlands. The highlight of this preserve is in the spring when the wildflowers are blooming. Many varieties can be found, but the showstopper is the Virginia Bluebells that cover the hillside as you make your way down to the lowlands. It's not to be missed.

From the parking lot you head into the woods and after a few hundred feet you can choose to go right or left. To the left is a more gradual hill to the lowlands and to the right is steeper and more narrow with a few obstacles like rocks and trees to navigate over.
